Firstly, thank you for researching and taking the time to find out a bit more about us. Hopefully, you’ve spoken to me or James and liked the way we spoke, or have seen our reviews, and they resonated with you! We are proud of what we provide and have achieved since opening our doors in 2019.

The landscape has changed significantly over the years, and our online presence is lacking because we do things the old-fashioned way, we pick up the phone and speak to our clients. Unfortunately, our industry has become overrun by charlatans who pester daily, give poor advice, lock you into contracts that will break your business, and will say just about anything to get that figure on the board. It’s hard for business owners to trust who they are speaking to.

We let you decide if you feel we are the brokerage for you. Here is the truth behind our business so you can decide for yourself if you like the way we do things. Cope Energy is myself (Hayley) and James. Combined, we have over two decades of experience in the energy industry. We do not have a glamorous office, we do not send you promotional material to win your business; we just love what we do and do a very good job of it. We are two people who have the knowledge and expertise to help your business navigate the complexity of the energy world.

Business owners cannot be good at everything (my dad calls it being a busy fool). If you have a problem with a supplier, we sort it no matter how complex the situation. If you cannot face remembering when your contract is next up for renewal… don’t worry, that’s what we are here for. If your contract is up for renewal and you want honest advice about when is the best time to lock in and don’t want the hassle of ringing around ten different suppliers to find the best price, we do that for you. Yes, we make money for doing this, but we pick up the phone and reply to your emails after the contracts are organised (enter buzzword ‘accountable’ here).  Ultimately, we are here to take your business’ energy management off your to-do list!

Being a business owner is hard work, trust me I know, and sometimes handing over the responsibility of such a critical area that will ultimately affect your bottom line is nerve-wracking. We care, we understand business, and we will give you the expertise that’s needed in this complex, ever-changing, and critical area.
